Introduction
One of the ways of knowing Gods will in a situation is Perception. It may be an awareness of victory, a
breakthrough etc or that something is going to happen. At other times, you know that things are out of
order.
Dictionary definition
 Direct perception of truth, fact, etc., independent of any reasoning process; immediate
apprehension.
 Pure, untaught, non-inferential knowledge.
 An idea, a thought not audible but strong. Inspired thought.
 Knowing without being able to explain, how or why.
Scriptural Examples
 Jesus KJV John 6v61 …..When Jesus knew in Himself ….
 Paul Act 27:9 ….. Sirs, I perceive that this voyage……

Keys to Finetuning the Promptings:
 Identify outlying thoughts-Gods thoughts or your thought
Ensure you are whole naturally, not a paranoid, distrusting person. discernment is not
suspicion.

 Burden John 4v4’…. And he must needs go through Samaria; a sense of divine compulsion, a
magnetic spiritual force moving him in that direction. Sometimes the burden may come with
emotions like pain, sadness, always pray away the burden.

 Spiritual Impulse A tendency to act suddenly without thinking about suitability & results

 Praying in the Spirit helps

Conclusion
God’s method of communicating is not always audible or Spectacular, so we need to be very sensitive to His nudging in your Spirit.
