- Faith is not MAGIC: Act 10:34
• Faith works by defined principles (Acts 8:18-20; Acts 19:14-6).
• It flows out of intimacy & divine relationship with God. - Faith is ACTIVE never static: James 1:22
• By faith Abel offered unto God (Heb. 11:4)
• By faith Noah, moved with fear (Heb 11:7).
Faith always expresses itself in motion, change, and activity. - Faith is CONSISTENT: Romans 4:19
• Praise reinforces our belief and commits God
• Faith is consistent by not wavering but praising God (Habakkuk 3:17) - Faith HEARS and OBEYS. Genesis 12:1
• In Scriptures faith is related solely and exclusively to two invisible realities we cannot see with the natural eyes: God and His Word.
• Faith Grows by Obedience.
• Faith has an element of the unknown. - Faith sees the UNSEEN: 2 Corinthians 4:18; Heb. 11:3
• It makes us as sure of unseen or future things
• 2 kings 2:10; If you can see the invisible, you do the impossible. - Faith FIGHTS the warfare: 1Tim. 6:12; Gen. 14:14; 1 John 5:4.
• Faith defeats the Enemy
• Faith is not docile.
• Faith is not namby-pamby; it’s not weak.
• Faith a force and it will take you to the warfare zone.
• Faith overcomes the world. - Faith is LIBERAL: Gen 14:18-20; Proverbs 11:25.
• Our offerings serve as a memorial before God (Psalm 20).
• Abraham started the giving he did not hoard (Gen. 14:14).
• The more you give to God, the more God is obligated to give to you.
CONCLUSION
I have given you seven cardinal practical point by which you can appraise your faith. This list is by no means exhaustive but accurate. Which area are you lacking? Take action. Start where you are.
